Never Underestimate Carpenter Ants…

We called upon Gordmay Construction to deal with a water penetration issue that had arisen on a single storey addition to the house. The installation of a deck 30 years ago, and the absence of appropriate flashing had led to a gradual and chronic deterioration of the rim joist and kneewall in two main areas, including a significant infestation of carpenter ants.

Khayal was extremely responsive and professional. He was punctual in coming to assess the job, and really extended himself in getting the needed supplies the same evening. We’ve hired Mike and Chris now on two separate occasions to renovate a bathroom and a basement. Very pleased with the quality of their work. Mike and Chris were fantastic to work with. We hired them to renovate our kitchen and we were very happy with their work. They were always on time, very professional and friendly. I also appreciated that they did not exceed their pricing estimates. When we had sub-contractors in to paint our kitchen cabinets, we were nervous about working with a different firm, but Mike and Chris were great at following up and ensuring that the work was done to their standards.
